Play Ball!

Summer is practically here, and all I want to do is play outside or watch sports! Luckily, my parents feel the same way. Mommy managed to get her hands on tickets to the FC Dallas game in the school district suite! I had a blast mingling with everyone. I loved watching the game from up high, and I really enjoyed watching the frisbee dogs at half-time. I even had an excellent view during snack time. I could get used to this! Daddy bought me a new FC Dallas soccer ball at the game, and I was ready to play when we got home. Intensity is the name of the game! We have also been going to the Wakeland baseball playoff games. They are still going strong, and I'm pretty well known at the games now. All the moms try to talk to me, but ladies, I'm trying to watch the game! Saturday was my second day of soccer, and I had so much fun. I loved doing all the drills with Daddy and Coach Kat. I'm ready to play with the big boys! Other than that, I'm just practicing counting to ten, and I can even say the alphabet with a little bit of help. I am just so excited that it is almost summer, and I'm looking forward to my mini-vacation to San Antonio next weekend. I'm sure there will be lots of fun adventures to report! In the meantime, I'll continue cuddling with Mommy to remind her that I am "soooooooo sweet." (Don't worry, I tell her that I am ALL the time!!)

Soccer, Cupcakes and SnoCones

So I've decided that the month of May is better than Christmas! I have never had so many celebrations. We started off Mommy's birthday with breakfast in bed. I loved eating off my new Mickey Mouse plate and loved being between my parents! Once we got up and going, we went off to SoccerTots for the first time. I wasn't so sure about the singing and games, but I loved the obstacle course and kicking the soccer ball! I jumped through hoops, crawled through a tunnel, and scored lots of goals. I even got a soccer stamp with all my classmates! I'm looking forward to many soccer Saturdays ahead. In the afternoon I went to play with Uncle Troy and Campbell while my parents went to a movie. Hanging out was so much fun! After cooking steaks for dinner, we got to eat some really awesome cupcakes. I went a little sugar crazy, but it made Mommy laugh. I even started counting to ten by myself over and over! She and Daddy were so proud. Today was Aunt Jenny's birthday, so we went out to dinner with everyone. The best part was getting snocones afterward. It was my first time to visit the SnoCone lady, and my very first snocone. I LOVED Mommy's bubble gum one.....yummy!!! I sure could get used to celebrating every day!

Surprise.....and Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!! What a busy and fun few weeks I've had! This past weekend, we went down to Nederland to celebrate Mother's Day with my grandmas and great-grandmas. Saturday was full of excitement because we threw a surprise 30th birthday party for Mommy. Daddy and Nannie plotted the whole thing, and Nana, PawPaw, Clint and Lori hosted it. So many people were there, and boy was mommy surprised. We had so much fun! We ate and swam all day long, and I loved playing with my cousins. Peyton and I had some serious baseball practice, and I couldn't get enough of the fort and all those sports. I even got to ride around in Nana's golf cart. We did get a chance to go to dinner, so I got to see my Uncle Daniel, too. It was sad to leave, but I know I'll see everyone again very soon. At home, the weather has been nice, so we've been doing lots of yard work and outdoor play. I love doing some gardening, and I like distributing the different tools. Digging in the dirt is great! Recently I discovered the stone wall on the side of the house. "Walkie, walkie, walk the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllll" is what I like to say while I go back and forth. Don't worry, I hold mommy's hand the whole time! Tonight Daddy took me to get my hair cut, and the lady gave me a new do. Aren't I such a big boy? One more month until summer, and I can't wait!!!
