Fall Fun

Fall is here, and that means football and awesome weather! I am still going to soccer every Saturday, watching college football, and suiting up to watch the Texans on Sundays. I love all the quality sports time with my Daddy.Outside the weather has been fantastic, so we have been taking advantage of it. Every evening we head straight into the backyard to play in my house, kick the ball around, and even eat dinner. Tonight we had a family picnic out back, and I loved it!! I hope this weather sticks around for a while so I can wear flip-flops around a little longer (even if they are Mommy's instead of mine). I'm looking forward to an awesome weekend ahead!

The Weekend of Carter

After weeks of craziness, my parents decided it was time to have a weekend devoted soley to ME!!! We didn't do any chores (while I was awake at least), no one was here to visit, and I got to be the center of attention. It was AWESOME! Friday night we went to dinner and then to the Wakeland homecoming game. I loved watching the boys run out of the football helment tunnel, and the band was very entertaining. I got to meet lots of mommy's former students who were back in town, and it was a very busy night. On Saturday we went to Soccertots! I haven't been in a few weeks, and I was so happy to be back. The rest of the day was full of play. Cars, blocks, Little People, and books galore. We even played outside into the night, and I could see the moon up in the sky! I had some bathtime fun, and then settled down for a good night's sleep. Playing hard makes a boy tired! Today, we went to the park and played around the house. I've really missed my parents since Mommy went back to work, so this weekend was the best. I've even been voluntarily giving away hugs, kisses, and cuddles. Mommy was enjoying it too much, so I had to give her a hard time by calling her "mom" all weekend! She knows I'm just picking on her though. This weekend has been tons of fun, and I hope we get to do this again very soon!!!

Happy Grandparent's Day!

Wishing a Happy Grandparent's Day to my Nannie & Papa, Nana & PawPaw, Poppy, and Mama and PaPa Collins. I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I love you very much! I was lucky that I was able to see my Nana & PawPaw this morning because they were in town for a visit. I loved that they stayed the night with me, and we played all weekend long. The girls came over for hamburgers, and we had a blast playing outside. The water in the fountain was too appealing to pass up (even though Mommy says not to play in it), and we practiced invading my house from all angles. Inside we watched football all weekend, and we saw the Lamar Cardinals pick up their first win online. Go LU! Best of all, we got to eat CAKE! Yummy!! Today I got to see Daddy play soccer again. Eventhough they didn't win, I like going to watch him anyway. He's the best!!When I needed a break from the game, I ran around the baseball fields and hung out in the dugout. I don't need much to entertain me if I'm outside!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

It was a whirlwind weekend full of family and fun in Nederland. Unfortunately, we had to go to say goodbye to my GG. We love her and will miss her very much, but I know she is happiest when my cousins and I are all having fun together. The eight of us had a blast playing around, swimming, and eating. It was non-stop action for four days! I also got to visit all my other relatives in town, but I didn't get too many pictures. Nannie got me this crown since I am the king. We also spent some time with MaMa and PaPa, and Uncle Daniel, Aunt Pat and Aunt Brenda came over to play. The singing bulldog and spinning tops were so much fun to play with.I also went to the park and had my picture taken. Mommy says the pictures are really cute, and she will help me post some when we get them. I spent a lot of my time there feeding the ducks and chasing them around the pond. That was awesome! It was a great weekend, but I guess it's time to get back into my routine. At least it's a four day week!
