February Fun

February was full of non-stop excitement.  Uncle Troy, Aunt Jenny and the girls came by to visit with Brenley.

 The Prosper Fire Department got a new fire engine and had a big celebration to unveil it.  Daddy, PaPa Vaughn and I walked over and enjoyed the festivities.  I stood next to the bell and even got to get inside of the fire engine! It was great!

 Uncle Daniel came to town to meet Brenley, and we decided to go out for a Guys Day with Dad and PaPa Vaughn.  At Main Event, we bowled and played video games.  I even won enough tickets to get myself an awesome set of handcuffs!  It was sooooooooo much fun!!!

 Because Brenley is too small to go anywhere, we play around the house a ton.  I love keeping her entertained.

 I like to read to Brenley and show her my homework.  I also show her how to play with her toys, and even named her big pink bear Mr. Fluffy. 

Sometimes we watch movies together, but she mostly sleeps.

 People keep sending over presents for Brenley, but my favorite was a bouquet of cookies.  My favorite was the one that said "Big Brother Carter."

She likes to rock with Mom and play with Dad.  We had a mean game of Uno going!

 In even more exciting news, I finally got to start T-ball!  I suited up and headed out to practice.  I had so much fun hitting the ball and running the bases.  Dad is an assistant coach, and Mom, Brenley and Aunt Liz all came out to watch me play.  I can't wait for my first game!

 Brenley got to have a playdate of her own while I was at school.  Zoe came over to meet her and they laid around together.  I guess that's what babies do for fun.

 She was very healthy at her 2 week check up: 8 lbs, 8 oz and 20.8 inches.  She gained a whole pound in one week!  Dr. G gave her a huge A+!  She is growing up so fast!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Carter has decided to share his blog with me, and it's time for my very first post!  Valentine's Day is a super fun day, and I was happy to spend my very first one at home.  I was NOT very happy about getting my first real bath at home though!

 Mommy put me in a cute Valentine's Day outfit that Nannie bought for me.  She also brought me a big red balloon that I LOVED.  I watched it sway back and forth and up and down. Nana came by to see me as well.

We got some pretty fun gifts, and my awesome brother got me my very first ball and glove.  It is too cool, and I can't wait until I'm big enough to play catch with him.

 After a full day of fun, I finished the night with a story and tucking my brother into bed. 

 Later in the week, I got bundled up and went off to my first doctor's appointment.  At three days old, I was already almost back to my birthweight, and I got an A+ from Dr. G.

 Carter was running around trying to fly the new plan Uncle Johnny gave him.We have so much fun that I have to recharge with naps most of the day!

It looks like our house is always running crazy, and I'm excited to go along for the ride!

Welcome to the World, Brenley!

On February 11, 2013, after an early morning doctor's appointment, Mommy had a Monday filled with contractions. After work they got worse, and by 8:30 pm she finally called the doctor.  Daddy took her to the hospital to get some pain medicine, but little did he know that my sister was really on her way.  At 10:53 pm, Brenley Grace Bell was born at 7 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches long.  Everyone was SO surprised....especially Mommy and Daddy.  She was beautiful and healthy.

 

 Daddy made sure Brenley could see me whenever she wanted by putting my picture in her bucket.  I didn't even know she was born until I woke up the next day!

 I was very very nervous when I got to the hospital, but Mommy pulled me up onto the bed so I could hold her.  She was our little princess, and I love her so much.

 That afternoon, my Nannie and Nana arrived to meet her.  Everyone was so happy she was finally here.

 Aunt Elizabeth, Aunt Jenny, Kalynne, Hannah, Campbell all came by too!

 Brenley was pretty cute, but she mostly wanted to sleep, eat or cuddle with Mommy.

 Daddy put a bow on her and Mommy got her ready to head home.  She wasn't a fan of changing clothes.

 Our family was finally complete, and we were ready to head home.  We showed Brenley all around the house, but her favorite spot was in someone's arms.

 When she was five days old, we had our pictures made.  We are both pretty photogenic!

I love my new sister so much, and I can't wait for us to start our adventures together!
