Basketball Time

Now that football season is basically over, I've turned my attention to basketball. Elmo and I went to the Wakeland basketball game, and we thought it was pretty awesome. The music during warm-ups was cool, and those boys were so tall and strong. I also went to see Kalynne play in her basketball game. She did such a great job! I can't wait until I get to play on a court like that. With the cold weather, we've spent most of our free time inside just playing around. My stuffed animals enjoy going for rides around the house on my four-wheeler. I've finally mastered the power steering! Now I'm looking forward to a fun weekend with just dad....just a few more days to go!

Imagination Gone Wild!

We haven't gone on any big outings lately, so I've been creating adventures of my own at home. After all that snowfall, it stuck around for a few days. I convinced Dad to bring some of the snow in the house in a big bucket, and once he brought it all in, a snowball fight broke out!!! We had so much fun =) I've also had a blast with my best buddies Teddy Freddy, Elmo, and Monkey. We play trains, play sports, cook and even eat together. I bring them everywhere I go, and I love taking care of them (notice their socks in the above picture...I thought their feet must be cold). I've even been potty training them and giving them stickers! Tonight after a tough pillow fight, I put them all down for a nap. To make it up to Mickey for leaving him out, I decided we should wear matching jammies. I'm sure there will be many more adventures to come!

Welcome to 2011!

2011 has already been a fun and busy year. We've spent a lot of low key time at home just playing around and spending time together. I love playing with my new toys, looking through our telescope at the moon, sculpting playdough and watching movies. As much fun as it is to go places all the time, I have really enjoyed the one on one time with my parents. For the Cotton Bowl, we went over to Aunt Jenny's. I got all decked out in my A&M gear, played with lots of kids and fell in love with the air hockey table. I took Daddy down! This morning when I got up, Mommy said we might get some snow and that we were going to have a pajama day. I kept checking the window to see if it would happen. At the first sign of a flurry, out we went. A few hours later we had quite a blanket of snow on our hands. I went out to inspect my house, and the snow was up to the top of my boots. It was so beautiful and so much fun! What a great start to a brand new year!!
