While Disney is a tough act to follow, I had also been waiting months for the robot dinosaurs to come to town. We picked up Aunt Liz and Uncle John and drove to the Heard Museum to see the special exhibit. Before heading out to the trails, we looked at the indoor animals and dug for fossils.
Once on the trail, we saw all different kinds of dinosaurs. We read about each one along the way. Some were just statues, but some moved and made noises. One even spit water at us!
I loved being outside. I found awesome walking sticks and even put some together to make an imaginary bow and arrow.
It was a beautiful day, and I can't wait to go again next year.
