Happy Thanksgiving!

Holiday weeks are the greatest, and I have stayed busy as usual. As soon as we got back from the ranch, we got to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with ALL my cousins, Nana & PawPaw over at Aunt Jenny's. It is so fun when we all get together, and I wish we could all hang out more often. Once they headed out of town, Nannie, Papa Vaughn and Uncle Daniel arrived. Nannie baked some cookies and let me decorate them myself. They were delicious!! Yesterday we drove to Grapevine to the Gaylord Texan Resort to see all of the beautiful Christmas decorations and exhibits. We went to see the ICE exhibit where the Peanuts characters were all carved out of ice. It was amazing and COLD. I had to run out a little early because I got a little too chilly, but I have already asked to go back. Mommy says I'll get to go again very soon. Today was the best holiday of the year, Thanksgiving! I stayed in my PJs all morning and watched all the parades on TV. The balloons were awesome, and I kept asking who was going to come next. By the afternoon, the cold weather blew in, so we had a big fire in the fireplace, tons of food, and of course plenty of football. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful and fun family. The girls and I had a blast playing all over the house! I also got to display my gourds. Once I saw these crazy looking vegetables, I had to have them!I'm also thankful for my new playroom. Mommy and Daddy converted the study into a room just for me and my toys! They were very brave and even let me pick out the paint color. It turned out great, and I know I'm going to spend many hours playing away in there. I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving, and let the countdown to Christmas begin!

Red Bluff Ranch

After my awesome visit to Lubbock, we woke up on Sunday and drove off to Aunt Liz and Uncle John's ranch. The views up there are amazing, and I loved looking at the scenery. As soon as we got there, I bundled up and took off to see the sites.





We drove all over to check the feeders, look for animals and just enjoy the outdoors. As always, I had a blast being outside picking up rocks and sticks. We had a fun picnic up on the bluff, too. I even went for a long walk down the hill with my parents, Rocco, and my new buddy Beau! I helped Aunt Elizabeth drive the mule down to the river, and Mommy and Daddy chased us on some ATVs. I walked all over looking for the best river rocks. The little river was actually flowing, and I was able to see some tiny fish swimming along. I could have stayed down there all day long. Back at the trailer there was plenty to do, including painting a picture and a making special Thanksgiving placemat with stickers. When the sun went down, I helped Mommy build a fire, and I roasted a hot dog and marshmellows. My first smore was YUMMY!!! After one last look around the ranch with my binoculars, it was time to hit the road. I can't wait to go back!

A Day in Raiderland!

I know I've been out of pocket lately, but I have had a lot going on. My Nana and Aunt Elizabeth both came for visits, and I headed down to Nederland to see everyone. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures taken. I absolutely loved getting to see everyone, and I was tuckered out by the time I had to go back home. Mom did let me help her bake a turtle cheesecake from scratch, and it was delicious. I love cooking with her! I spent quite a bit of time playing with my cousins, and I also love dressing myself in the mornings (when my parents let me). Boots and bibs are stylish, right? We've been out and about starting our holiday shopping, and I got to play on a caboose near the shops. Trains are great! Last night we rolled into Lubbock for a quick visit. This morning we got up and headed to the country club for a buffet breakfast. I ate my weight in fruit, and it was great! Then, Aunt Elizabeth hijacked a golf cart for me and took me out to see the course. I was fascinated with all the golfers. Maybe I can be an awesome golfer one day!

After breakfast, we went to campus and saw the bench that John and Elizabeth got at the Alumni Center. They even put Mommy and Daddy's names on it! I got to see a huge Tech ring that looked just like Daddy's, and then I got to put on my new Raider shirt and Double T tatoos. I was so excited to meet the Masked Rider and pet the Midnight Matador. She autographed a picture just for me before we headed up to our seats. Our seats were up in the Club level, so we enjoyed the buffet and I ran around like I owned the place. Everyone thought I was adorable, and I charmed my way through a few of the suites. I even got to eat a Double T cookie! Most of the game I sat outside with everyone and enjoyed the game and the band. I absolutely love this!

The band was awesome, and after a few quarters, I had the hand movements figured out. We had a blast dancing to the music. I had the most wonderful time with everyone, and I loved soaking in all the sounds of the stadium. I have so much fun with my family, but a long fun day will wear a boy out!Off to the ranch in the morning for a few more days of adventure!
