Happy Grandparent's Day!

Wishing a Happy Grandparent's Day to my Nannie & Papa, Nana & PawPaw, Poppy, and Mama and PaPa Collins. I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I love you very much! I was lucky that I was able to see my Nana & PawPaw this morning because they were in town for a visit. I loved that they stayed the night with me, and we played all weekend long. The girls came over for hamburgers, and we had a blast playing outside. The water in the fountain was too appealing to pass up (even though Mommy says not to play in it), and we practiced invading my house from all angles. Inside we watched football all weekend, and we saw the Lamar Cardinals pick up their first win online. Go LU! Best of all, we got to eat CAKE! Yummy!! Today I got to see Daddy play soccer again. Eventhough they didn't win, I like going to watch him anyway. He's the best!!When I needed a break from the game, I ran around the baseball fields and hung out in the dugout. I don't need much to entertain me if I'm outside!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

It was a whirlwind weekend full of family and fun in Nederland. Unfortunately, we had to go to say goodbye to my GG. We love her and will miss her very much, but I know she is happiest when my cousins and I are all having fun together. The eight of us had a blast playing around, swimming, and eating. It was non-stop action for four days! I also got to visit all my other relatives in town, but I didn't get too many pictures. Nannie got me this crown since I am the king. We also spent some time with MaMa and PaPa, and Uncle Daniel, Aunt Pat and Aunt Brenda came over to play. The singing bulldog and spinning tops were so much fun to play with.I also went to the park and had my picture taken. Mommy says the pictures are really cute, and she will help me post some when we get them. I spent a lot of my time there feeding the ducks and chasing them around the pond. That was awesome! It was a great weekend, but I guess it's time to get back into my routine. At least it's a four day week!

He's Back!

Daddy came home on Friday!!! Five days without him is a LONG time, and I was so happy that he was back. I was jumping up and down in the garage and had the biggest smile on my face when he pulled in. We celebrated our reunion all day Saturday with soccer, homemade nachos, and ice cream! I was ready for Soccertots first thing that morning, and I had the keys ready to get everybody out the door. At practice we learned a new drill where you build a huge tower of cones on top of the ball and then kick it over. I loved it so much that I did it for another half hour at home. It was awesome! Saturday night we relaxed with some yummy treats, and I even got to eat in the living room. It was only for one night, but I enjoyed every second of it! Today we went shopping for some new clothes and shoes. Before we left, I tried on some old stuff. I actually had fun putting on a little fashion show. I'm handsome, and I know it! This afternoon we went to watch Daddy play soccer. He is the best goalie in the world, and it took every ounce of willpower I had not to run on the field to play. It was so hot that I had to stay in my chair in the shade with my frozen yogurt and water! I am so glad my Daddy is back to play with me and give me hugs. I love him sooooo much!

Back in Gear

The past two weeks have been crazy, and Mommy has been too sick to help me with the blog. Hopefully we'll be back on track from here on out though. It really is a shame that I don't have any pictures to share because I have been up to soooo much. My Aunt Elizabeth came to visit, and we cooked ribs and made homemade ice cream. I helped by adding the salt and watching it spin around and around. It was YUMMY! Then Nana and PawPaw came to visit, and I got to go shopping. I got an awesome new pair of Nikes and a Mickey soccer shirt. Then, Nannie came up for a few days this week to help out around the house while Daddy is gone on business. She spoiled me rotten, and I got some new cars to play with! It's been too hot to play outside, but I've found some ways to stay entertained in the house. I like to dress up like Daddy and practice being the goalie, and I LOVE reading my stories. Daddy and I have started reading Harry Potter every night, and I can't wait for bedtime. Mommy started back to work, so we're getting back into the school routine. I'm not so thrilled in the mornings, but I have fun once I get there. I got to attend my first "friend" birthday party at the bounce house place this past weekend. My classmates and I jumped ourselves silly!! Ever since, I come home every night and talk to Mommy about my new best friend Gavin. We have too much fun together! I'm looking forward to another great school year ahead.

So Long Summer!

Summer went by too quickly, but I definitely made the most of it. We decided to end the break in Frisco, so I spent the vast majority of my time playing around the house. Early in the week Poppy and Daniel were here to visit. We had a lot of fun goofing around. That Uncle Daniel cracks me up! I'm excited to go to school every day to play with my new friends, but I don't know if my teachers can keep me as busy as I've been at home. I just got my new gardening tools, and it's very important to tend to the plants (real or not!). After weeks of temperatures over 100, I'm hoping it will cool down so I can get to work outside. Around the house, I never have to look very far to find something to fix with my toolbox. The screwdrivers are by far the most useful, and they are my favorite tools to use. I've recently gotten into Handy Manny, and I like to fix things up like he does! In the backyard, bubble attacks keep me happy. You'd better be on the lookout, or I'll get you. The more bubbles the better! Inside, I like to teach everyone basic construction and demolition skills when I can. I've been really into my block building table, and I am perfecting my design of a "water tower." Once it's built, you have to see how strong it is by knocking it down. That part is hilarious! When it's too hot to go outside and too boring inside, it's my job to liven things up a bit. I've recently acquired the skill of stripping down to my birthday suit all by myself, and I show it off by streaking through the house. I think Mommy might have snapped some increminating pictures, but I've got about 10 years or so before I'll worry about that. For now it's too much fun. Wooohooo! I know I'll still have plenty of adventures, but it's sad that summer is gone. I helped Mommy put her classroom back together, so it's officially the end of the road. I must admit that I cannot wait for football season though, so I should have many more stories to tell. I'm looking forward to the crazy school year ahead!

Back to School!

Summer is starting to wind down, and that means it is time to head back to school. I've been having lots of fun at home, but it will be fun to hang out with more kids my age. I only go to school a few days a week until Mommy goes back to work, so it's been an easy transition. I loaded up my new Mickey backpack on Tuesday and went off to meet my new teachers and friends. I waved goodbye to Mommy and Daddy and played all day long. It should be fun in this new classroom they have music, spanish, and gymnastics class! Another school year underway!

Two and Lovin' It!

I am finally two years old, and it was a great birthday! I hung out at home all morning in my Toy Story pjs and played with Mom, Dad, and Nannie. In the afternoon, my parents took me to Build-a-Bear. I knew immediately that I wanted to make myself Mr. Baseball. I put a heart and song in him, watched him get stuffed and sewn up, and then I gave him a bath. He's great! For my birthday dinner, my cousins came over for BBQ. After we ate, it was time for cupcakes and presents! We sat around the new table Nannie got me, and I blew out the candles all by myself. Those Mickey cupcakes were YUMMY! After that, we all played outside. We blew bubbles, played baseball, football, basketball, and cooked in my house. I love when everyone comes over to play. I finally settled down for the night in my new Elmo pjs, on my new PillowPet to watch my new Toy Story 2 movie. What an awesome day, and I have another awesome year to come!
