Snow in March?

That's right, it snowed today!! It didn't stick to the ground, but it was lots of big fluffy snow. Mommy is the only one who saw it because she was up early to go to her UIL district meet. Her team won 1st place in all 5 science events!! I get to play around with the trophy until it goes into the trophy case at school on Monday. It was fun :)

Mommy tried to catch a cute picture of me, but I was too busy chewing on my giraffe. I'm getting a few more teeth on the bottom, so I've been a little cranky. Daddy isn't getting much rest because he is always in my room taking care of me in the middle of the night. In fact, this weekend I have started sticking out my bottom lip and crying big huge tears if no one is paying attention to me while I'm playing. What can I say, I like to be the star!


















Earlier this week I got to meet my cousin Campbell. All she did was sleep, but I'm sure we'll have fun when she's older. Can you believe no one took a picture of us? Maybe my parents will work on that soon. They also want to get a video posted soon, but they have been having some technical difficulties with the camera.

Happy Birthday Campbell!

I've spent Spring Break just hanging out with my Mommy and Nannie. It has been so much fun! I have been staying up WAY past my bedtime and playing hard while I'm awake. I've learned how to clap, and I love banging things together. I have been pretty stubborn and refuse to let anyone teach me how to crawl, but I've started trying to pull up. I'm really contemplating skipping this crawling thing and going straight to walking instead. I'll let you know how that goes! Daddy took some pics of me in the few rare moments that I've been relaxed.

In more exciting news, my cousin Campell was born today! She followed my lead and came a few weeks early. Isn't she precious?

Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me go up to the hospital to meet her. I was bummed, but I'll meet her soon. I'm sure we'll have tons of fun growing up together!

On the food front, I still love ANYTHING you put in my mouth. This weekend it has been peaches and pears...yummy! Have a great week everyone!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Happy St. Patty's Day! It was pretty laid back. I got to go to Daddy's office and went out to lunch with him after having my 8 month pictures made. I was VERY serious and did not smile for the photographer, so be prepared for a very intense group of pictures. I'm sure mommy will send out the link in a week or two when she gets it. She did make me try on my Easter outfit last night just to check out how it looked, so here's a preview.

While I wouldn't smile at the studio, I was happy as could be playing on mommy's bed later that afternoon.

Then, I had to show off my holiday button before going to visit my cousins and my Nana who is visiting. I hope everyone else had a super day!

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring Break is finally here! This weekend was all about spring cleaning, warm weather, and partying! We started off our weekend with an early St. Patrick's Day party at mommy's friend's house. We hung out with some lovely ladies, and I was a flirt as always.
The rest of the weekend was spent cleaning up around the house....even me!

I am so close to crawling that I can't even stand it. I can go backwards, but not forward yet. I did discover the COOLEST thing...the VCR/DVD player. It has all kinds of buttons and lights. I tried to attack it and climb up the shelves. Mommy ran over and said "NO!" That made me really angry and upset, but she insisted it wasn't my toy. Let the battle begin!
Today the weather was beautiful, so we did a little bit of yardwork. I wore my new hat to protect me from the sun. It should be a whole week of this wonderful weather!

Not much else is going on except that I got to try bananas...and of course, I LOVE them :) I'll update again soon.

Soccer & BBQ

This past weekend, I got to go to Kaly's soccer game. She did a great job! It was windy and warm, and I had fun seeing all the people. Kaly came over to visit me, and Hannah kept me entertained.

After the game, I got to go to Rudy's for the first time. No BBQ for me yet, but I was on my best behavior.

Other than that, we've just been hanging out. Mommy is counting down the days until Spring Break when we get to hang out all day!! Hope everyone is having a great week :)

We had a relatively uneventful week except that I got my second tooth! It's on the bottom, right by my first. I also had sweet potatoes and applesauce, and I love them! Other than that, we've just been hanging out having fun. I'll update more later. Have a great weekend!!

A Week's Worth of Adventure!

My life just never seems to slow down. It was an exciting weekend as daddy and I went with mommy down to San Antonio to watch her Academic Decathalon compete for the state title.

On Thursday, we drove into town and walked down the Riverwalk. It was HOT!

We went to the Rainforest Cafe, and I LOVED looking in the aquariums. The thunderstorms and dancing animals didn't phase me either.

After lunch, we walked over to see the Alamo and then cruised around the mall. I was having a blast!

After all that traveling and sightseeing, I was worn out.

Friday night, the team had to compete, so mommy was out late. Daddy and I went to meet his friend Tracy and her husband, Vince, for dinner. It was fun meeting them.

Saturday was the big day. Daddy and I went to watch the SuperQuiz event at San Antonio College. Mommy's team did ok. We were just there to root Wakeland on! I watched some, but daddy played with me out in the hall part of the time because I wanted to cheer when things were supposed to be quiet.

I had an early dinner of green beans and cereal at the Embassy Suites, and I still wanted to cheer. I am all about making crazy noises right now.

Later that night, we went the Tower of the Americas. The restaurant was at the top of the tower, and it rotated!!! It was very fancy, and mommy's students LOVED having me around all weekend :)

On Sunday, we went to the awards luncheon where mommy's team won 5th place in state. Then, we made the long trip home through ridiculous amounts of traffic, and I was a perfect angel in the car. My reward? My first tooth brushing. I was NOT a fan, but I have to get used to it!
