HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!

Happy Birthday, Daddy! I love you so much, and I had the most awesome weekend with you. We started the celebration at Aunt Jenny's on Friday night with hamburgers and cake. Yummy! On Saturday, Aunt Elizabeth gave me an awesome Mickey Mouse pumpkin and Uncle John carved me a Jack-o-lantern while they babysat me and the girls. We played all night long. Sooooo fun! Today, some of our friends invited us to go with them to Ghouls in the Garden. I got to wear the Handy Manny costume Mommy made me, and we went trick-or-treating. I really got the hang of it after a few houses. If you say "Trick or treat," people just give you candy!!! We also got to go on a hayride pulled by TWO Clydesdale horses. My friends and I loved it. Those horses were awesome. I played in a parachute around the campfire, and I was even brave enough to go into the haunted graveyard. I wanted Mommy nearby at first, but by the end I was yelling goodbye to Mr. Pumpkin. I even got to paint my own baby pumpkin while we were there too. A few more days, and I'll get to trick or treat all over again. Awesome!

Earlier in the week, Nannie was here to visit. She bought me a Texas Rangers jersey. I love it so much, I even sleep in it sometimes. It seems to be lucky, so I look forward to wearing it while I watch them in the World Series this week! Nannie also bought me lots of stickers so I could decorate a pumpkin at home. It turned out so beautiful that we have it on display in the living room. Love those stickers! I've had such a wonderful fall so far, and there is so much more excitement on the way. I love my adventures!!!!

My First Aggie Experience!

A few days ago, Daddy noticed that Mommy was a little homesick for College Station, so he surprised us with tickets to the Aggie football game. What an awesome Daddy! We loaded up on Friday afternoon and headed down to meet Nannie at the hotel. I got to stay up late, running around and playing. I especially liked showing off my new Double T silly bands! I was a little confused about who I was going to see. This morning we got suited up for our trip to Kyle Field. Mommy and I were twins! We got to campus early and stopped by Mommy's Aggie intern reunion. I got to meet a few people and picked up a few "squishy" toys along the way. It was lots of fun walking around campus and watching all the people. We made sure to get to our seats an hour early to watch the Corp march in. I thought the band was great, and I was mesmerized by the big TV. Eventhough the Aggies didn't win, I had a great time watching those football players. After the 3rd quarter, we decided to see some more of campus. I got to see where the Reville's are buried, and I even saw the current Reville up close too! She was in a hurry, so I couldn't get a picture, but it was still pretty cool. Before heading to the Quad to meet up with some members of the Corp, I played a little football of my own. I drew plenty of attention! What a fun trip with a fun family. Just a few weeks until game day in Lubbock. Until then, Gig 'Em!!

PUMPKINS!!!!!

Other than going to the volleyball and football game on Friday, it was a pretty uneventful week. It still feels like fall, so we've been spending a lot of time outside playing and having picnics. Today we loaded up and drove down to the Dallas Arboretum because I have been asking to see some pumpkins. Boy did they have some! They were all different shapes, sizes, and colors, and I was in pumpkin heaven. I wanted to take them all home! I loved climbing up the hay bales and walking through the pumpkin houses. Everywhere you looked, there were seas of pumpkins! In another part of the park, there were tons of fountains and beautiful views of White Rock Lake. I ran free through the open areas and splashed in all the water. The flowers were very pretty too. The last part of the arboretum was a frontier village. I got to go in lots of different minature praire houses, a teepee, and even a covered wagon. I thought it was a train and was sad that is wasn't working. What a fun day we had! To top it off, we stopped by the new 7-11 so I could see the giant slurpee up close and personal. I've been admiring it for a few days, so getting to go up to it was awesome! This week I'll be counting down the days until I get to see my first Aggie football game at Kyle Field. Whoop!!!

Every Day Fun

The weather outside has been wonderful, and we have been taking full advantage. We tried to go to the neighborhood fall festival, but we showed up a day late...oops! Since we were at the park already, we just stayed and played. I had fun going down the slides, swinging, and playing football with Daddy. Lately, running errands is even entertaining. Anytime we get groceries, I'm in charge of driving the cart. I honk at people as we go by and pull in supplies off the shelf. If you see me, you'd better move out of my way. I like to go fast!!This week I even got to pick out my very own pumpkin! Mommy and I dressed it up like Elmo for Halloween. I LOVE IT!! After a hard day of play, nothing beats a cruise around the house in the buff. Naked boy on the loose....to the bathtub! I love my fun-filled life!

Hanging With the Animals!

So today was one of the best days ever!!!!! I woke up, ate a waffle and watched some Handy Manny before getting ready for SoccerTots. That was more than enough to call it a good day, but little did I know there was so much more in store. I had a great time at soccer scoring goals and kicking the ball, but my favorite part was the parachute. Woohoo!Afterward, I fell asleep in the car, and when I woke up, we were at the Dallas Zoo. I love it when that happens! With the State Fair going on, no one was there. It was sunny and cool, there were no crowds or lines, and I got most of those animals all to myself! I got to ride a pony, feed some fish, pet a goat, get eye-to-eye with a giraffe, watch meerkats do tricks for their trainer, and so much more! I know I had a smile on my face all day. I was very busy studying every animal we came across, so I wasn't too interested in taking pictures with them. (Why doesn't my Mommy understand that I'm busy trying to learn some stuff?) I did love all the animal statues around the park though. They weren't quite as intimidating (or interesting) as the real thing! One of the best things that I got to do was race a penguin. He would jump out of the water and then swim really fast beside the glass. I chased him back and forth, over and over again. It was so much fun that I made Mommy and Daddy bring me back a second time. I can't wait to go back! As if that weren't enough, on the way home we stopped for ice cream, and it was fantastic. Family days like this are awesome and I can't wait to have some more!
