It's been quite a while since my last trip to Nederland, so this one was jam packed full of visits and fun. I saw tons of friends and family, and I miss everyone already! We left Frisco early on Friday after I got my flu shot so that we could go the the Bulldog football game. It happened to be homecoming, so there was a ton of stuff to see. I loved the balloons, band, and football players. I even got to watch Ryan to a cheer down on the track! My cousins were so excited for me to put on my first bulldog shirt that Nana had personalized for me. We were ready to go! 
It was fun eventhough the Bulldogs lost. Mommy and Daddy took me by Tex Ritter park and the windmill. One day I'll have to go back when I can go inside! 
Uncle Daniel was out of town, but we crashed at his place anyway. Nannie came in to play with me. I had all sorts of crazy adventures over there, and Nannie got me some awesome new PJs and shoes! I loved running around banging the drumstick and playing the piano on my tip-toes. Music is awesome! Aunt Pat came by and played puppets with me too. 
After going to Ryan and Dylan's soccer games, it was time to play at their house. I had so much fun on the fort, even after tripping and hitting my head. I played with the boys on all the different levels, and Daddy took me down the slide!

As always, I just love being outdoors. I played all over the yard! I ran around in a police car, on a plane, and in a real life tractor! (I've started to develop a love of tractors. I always point at them on the side of the road.)

I also try to put my shoes on by myself and get quite frustrated when I can't. If I say "shoes please, " I usually get some help. Today at school I figured out how to unbutton my overalls so I could run around without any pants on when my teachers weren't looking :) Time for mommy to put those away (or duct tape them on)! In other VERY cool news, yesterday I figured out how to put the ball on the tee AND hit it off with my bat!! My parents were both suprised and excited. I love sports already, and any time I see a ball I scream "BAAA"!!! Many more days of baseball to come I'm sure!

I've been practicing with my baseball tee, but I forget what it's for sometimes. Is biting against the rules?
I'm still trying to climb up and over my playhouse. Daddy caught me right before I tried to jump over the top. Playing is so much fun. 
I've been pretty crazy at school lately. I think I'm older and more developed than I really am. I run all over the place and never ever stop. Daddy gets a phone call every day about a new bump or bruise. I was running too fast and hit my head...twice in one day. Then I busted my eye on the table and had a pretty awesome shiner. I also ran into one of my friends and busted his head and my lip. What can I say...I'm all boy!!! I had an awesome weekend in Nederland, but I'll have to post about that later.
I watched while Adam, Daddy and Mommy hit golf balls, and I thought it was hysterical. The other golfers probably didn't appreciate my giggles, but mommy and daddy did! Look at them go! 
At home I've been up to all sorts of mischief. Earlier in the week I got my 4-wheeler taken away because I like standing up on it, but I finally got it back. I've figured out how to drive it all around by myself, and it is awesome. I only get to ride it forward and side-saddle, but one of these days they won't be looking and I'll get to pull off my big finale while standing up on the seat!
I've also been busy counting my money. It is so much fun putting quarters in my piggy bank. My parents let me take it all out and put it back in over and over and over! 
Last night, my cousins came over to watch the Tech game. I worked very hard on sharing my toys with Campbell. Mommy was very proud of me. 
Hannah, Kaly and I chased each other around, and I had SO MUCH FUN. We have a great time playing together. 
In other news, I am climbing EVERYTHING. Mommy caught me in action as I climbed between couches (which is not allowed). 
I use my toys as steps and anything else I can find. I even climb UP my slide and then OVER the side. I get in big trouble for that, but I try it anyway. Mommy is starting to get worried that I will leap out of my crib soon. I guess we'll just have to wait and see :)
I had a pretty good week at school, and on Friday night I went to my first volleyball game. The Lady Wolverines lost, but I really loved watching the ball fly around. I met up with some other friends my age there too! It has been a rainy weekend, so we have stayed inside playing and eating. I can cram a ridiculous amount of goldfish crackers into my mouth, and I love it! 
I only get my pacifier at night now, but occasionally I find them hidden around the house. Mommy was taking a nap, and I was in heaven :) Three pacis at once!!!
Anything around the house that is NOT a toy quickly becomes my favorite thing to play with. A new big bin makes a great soccer goal and hideout! 
I've been practicing my soccer skills lately. I like to throw the ball and dribble it all around the house. 
I have figured out how to throw things across the room, and I think it is hilarious! Mommy better start keeping a close eye on her breakables! I also LOVE climbing. I will climb anything in sight, even my stroller. 
Not much else is happening except that I got a new big boy car seat for daddy's car, and anytime I get near a steering wheel I say "vrrrrrooom vrrrrrroooom". 
We have a busy week to come, and a homecoming game next weekend. I'll keep everyone posted!!
Liz & John brought us yummy steaks from Tech, so we went over to Aunt Jenny's that night for dinner. I loved riding on the see-saw with Hannah! 
On Sunday I got to run around at the park and watch Kaly do the monkey bars. She was awesome! Hopefully one day I'll be strong enough to do them too. Sunday we went to P.F. Chang's for a late lunch and then just hung out and played all afternoon. I ended up calling it a night early because I was sooo tired. I wore myself out. 
Finally, today was Labor Day! I was so happy that I got to stay home with Mommy and Daddy. We slept in until 9:00!! When I finally woke up, they noticed that my ear was covered in blood. We went to the doctor, and it was another ear infection. I just can't seem to stay well when I am in school! I got some medicine, but you would never even know I was sick. I went shopping and out to lunch, and I thought everything was so funny. At home I was acting silly, too. It was so much fun. I laughed more today than I did all week!! 
When daddy was up in the attic, I managed to climb up most of that big ladder. Mommy was right there, and she would NOT let me go all the way. They couldn't believe I figured out how to do that. I even had enough energy to work on a top secret project that I will reveal on Sunday. It is pretty cool :) After a long busy weekend, it was finally time for some traditional Labor Day hamburgers, baked beans and green beans. I didn't quite make it through.

This morning we all got up and headed out to Frisco Square to check out the Farmer's Market. I had so much fun just running around in the middle of all the booths! 
Of course, getting a balloon absolutely made my day. I carried it around for hours. Daddy helped me find the best watermelon, but we ended up buying some jalapenos to stuff tonight. 
After looking in all the tents, eating some frozen lemonade and watching Kaly & Hannah get their faces painted, we strolled over to City Hall to check out all the new sculptures. One looked like a train, and we all played around it for a while. 
After a short rest in my stroller, I was ready to run again. I walked all around with my blue balloon :)
It was fun watching the water, and I would have jumped in if I had been allowed to. 
While we were waiting for one of the new markets to open up, we decided to take some more pictures of Nana & PawPaw with the Frisco crew!! 
The morning finished up with lunch at Firehouse subs. Not only was it yummy, I got this awesome fireman's hat! 
After a trip to Toys R Us AND Babies R Us this afternoon, I'm off for a nap. Having all this fun is tiring!
A few days later, Daddy came home with a surprise....a broom just my size!!! I'll help by sweeping in the kitchen occasionally, but I mostly like to knock things over with it. 
I also like to carry around all the video game equipment. One of these days they'll let me play! 
Today I got to do all kinds of things a big boy gets to do. Mommy keeps reminding me I'm still a baby though. Whatever! We left this morning to go run errands, and to my surprise the car seat was facing forward! I thought that was crazy! 
After a tasty lunch, we went to Toys R Us. When I got out and saw the store, I started clapping and smiling. I love that place! Turns out inside they have a salon just for kids. We went in, and I got my very first haircut!! I sat in Daddy's lap and was a very good boy. To keep me entertained, I got to watch the movie Cars, and one of the workers blew bubbles at me. I loved getting to pop them. 
Afterwards we got to go shopping for toys! Don't I look so handsome?
My Daddy bought me a baseball bat and tee for the backyard, and I already love it. What a great day!!
