The weather outside has been wonderful, and we have been taking full advantage. We tried to go to the neighborhood fall festival, but we showed up a day late...oops! Since we were at the park already, we just stayed and played. I had fun going down the slides, swinging, and playing football with Daddy. 
Lately, running errands is even entertaining. Anytime we get groceries, I'm in charge of driving the cart. I honk at people as we go by and pull in supplies off the shelf. If you see me, you'd better move out of my way. I like to go fast!!
This week I even got to pick out my very own pumpkin! Mommy and I dressed it up like Elmo for Halloween. I LOVE IT!! 
After a hard day of play, nothing beats a cruise around the house in the buff. Naked boy on the loose....to the bathtub!

Afterward, I fell asleep in the car, and when I woke up, we were at the Dallas Zoo. I love it when that happens! With the State Fair going on, no one was there. It was sunny and cool, there were no crowds or lines, and I got most of those animals all to myself! I got to ride a pony, feed some fish, pet a goat, get eye-to-eye with a giraffe, watch meerkats do tricks for their trainer, and so much more! I know I had a smile on my face all day. 
I was very busy studying every animal we came across, so I wasn't too interested in taking pictures with them. (Why doesn't my Mommy understand that I'm busy trying to learn some stuff?) I did love all the animal statues around the park though. They weren't quite as intimidating (or interesting) as the real thing! 
One of the best things that I got to do was race a penguin. He would jump out of the water and then swim really fast beside the glass. I chased him back and forth, over and over again. It was so much fun that I made Mommy and Daddy bring me back a second time. I can't wait to go back! 
As if that weren't enough, on the way home we stopped for ice cream, and it was fantastic. Family days like this are awesome and I can't wait to have some more!
Outside the weather has been fantastic, so we have been taking advantage of it. Every evening we head straight into the backyard to play in my house, kick the ball around, and even eat dinner. Tonight we had a family picnic out back, and I loved it!! 
I hope this weather sticks around for a while so I can wear flip-flops around a little longer (even if they are Mommy's instead of mine). 
I'm looking forward to an awesome weekend ahead!
On Saturday we went to Soccertots! I haven't been in a few weeks, and I was so happy to be back. The rest of the day was full of play. Cars, blocks, Little People, and books galore. We even played outside into the night, and I could see the moon up in the sky! 
I had some bathtime fun, and then settled down for a good night's sleep. Playing hard makes a boy tired! 
Today, we went to the park and played around the house. I've really missed my parents since Mommy went back to work, so this weekend was the best. I've even been voluntarily giving away hugs, kisses, and cuddles. Mommy was enjoying it too much, so I had to give her a hard time by calling her "mom" all weekend! She knows I'm just picking on her though.
This weekend has been tons of fun, and I hope we get to do this again very soon!!!
The girls came over for hamburgers, and we had a blast playing outside. The water in the fountain was too appealing to pass up (even though Mommy says not to play in it), and we practiced invading my house from all angles. 
Inside we watched football all weekend, and we saw the Lamar Cardinals pick up their first win online. Go LU! Best of all, we got to eat CAKE! Yummy!! 
Today I got to see Daddy play soccer again. 
When I needed a break from the game, I ran around the baseball fields and hung out in the dugout. I don't need much to entertain me if I'm outside!

I also went to the park and had my picture taken. Mommy says the pictures are really cute, and she will help me post some when we get them. I spent a lot of my time there feeding the ducks and chasing them around the pond. That was awesome!
It was a great weekend, but I guess it's time to get back into my routine. At least it's a four day week!
We celebrated our reunion all day Saturday with soccer, homemade nachos, and ice cream! I was ready for Soccertots first thing that morning, and I had the keys ready to get everybody out the door. 
At practice we learned a new drill where you build a huge tower of cones on top of the ball and then kick it over. I loved it so much that I did it for another half hour at home. It was awesome! 
Saturday night we relaxed with some yummy treats, and I even got to eat in the living room. It was only for one night, but I enjoyed every second of it! 
Today we went shopping for some new clothes and shoes. Before we left, I tried on some old stuff. I actually had fun putting on a little fashion show. I'm handsome, and I know it! 
This afternoon we went to watch Daddy play soccer. He is the best goalie in the world, and it took every ounce of willpower I had not to run on the field to play. It was so hot that I had to stay in my chair in the shade with my frozen yogurt and water! 
I am so glad my Daddy is back to play with me and give me hugs. I love him sooooo much!
